The position available is for a co-op opportunity within the Small Molecule Value Chain organization at our company. The primary responsibility of the successful candidate will be to collaborate with operations and supply chain professionals in order to support the development of long-term supply chain strategies for products across their lifecycle. This role will involve conducting analyses related to supply and capacity scenarios, which will be crucial in informing strategic decisions.

Additionally, the candidate will gain experience in de-risking supply chains through the use of an integrated risk management process and utilizing specialized e-tools designed to assess the entire value chain and associated risks for specific products. Furthermore, the position will involve learning and assisting in dashboarding and data analytics exercises aimed at enhancing business process improvements.

Lastly, the candidate will also contribute to long-term capacity planning efforts and participate in data analysis activities to support operational insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with operations and supply chain professionals to develop long-term supply chain strategies.
  • Perform analyses for supply and capacity scenarios to inform strategic decisions.
  • Assist in de-risking supply chains through integrated risk management processes.
  • Utilize e-tools to assess the entire value chain and associated risks.
  • Support dashboarding and data analytics exercises for business process improvements.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Currently enrolled in a BS or MS program in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or Business Administration.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Leadership experience in relevant fields (e.g., studies, extracurricular activities, internships, military).
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.

  • Must be comfortable with influencing others and adapting to new roles and responsibilities.
  • Interest in gaining diverse experiences within the supply chain organization.
