The Software Engineer for Ford Pro Insure will:

  • Apply technological expertise to ensure successful project execution and ongoing support.
  • Utilize software skills to address technical and functional aspects of software product implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with team members on configuration, implementation and support.
  • Work in tandem with various stakeholders and teams across Ford Credit.

This position reports directly to the Engineering Manager of Ford Pro Insure.

Qualifications and Benefits:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • Over 3 years of experience supporting the software implementation life-cycle.
  • Experience within the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance industry.
  • Familiarity with SaaS software such as Origami, DuckCreek or Guidewire.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Previous involvement in integrating packaged solutions with third parties like Origami, DuckCreek or Guidewire.
  • Technical expertise in SQL, XML, C#, HTML/CSS, JSON, Python and JavaScript.
